"Catharsis Records" – a fictional mixtape label.
The label deals with the perhaps utopian and at the same time motivating question of "after corona?". In particular, it is about the possible five psychological conflicts, inner tensions or simply, emotional stages, that a person may go through after the pandemic:
– comeback – exaltation – contemplation – structure – freedom.
The label wants to be a forerunner and a helpful support for this vision in times when utopian as well as dystopian things may be possible. Specifically, the soul is to be purified by the five mixtapes of post-pandemic passions.
Through the emotional reaction by means of suitable music arranged in a special order, one is freed from inner restlessness. The mixtapes are aimed at all those who like to listen to music and like to live out their emotions.
